Got the top rail mocked up and clearanced for the breech screw and QEV so it should be ready for solder later this week... far too cold to do anything for the next few nights (lows of -9°C).
I measured/drilled the holes for the rear donut - I needed access to install the rear barb and retaining screw. The plan is to leave the rear snap ring off and use the retaining screw to hold the donut in place... that way, when I service the bolt engine, I take off a Picatinny rail to access the QEV and breech bolt, remove those, and slide the firing can/breech assembly out the front, leaving the donut inside the body.
