Old school Impulse Rebuild and Update

Waddup gang. My brother recently gifted me his old Impulse. This thing is beat, its going to need alot of TLC. I plan to pull this thing apart tomorrow morning and see what it needs. I am guessing new orings, for sure. I would like to update it to have eyes and maybe an LPR but don't want to sink a ton of money into this as gas prices aren't friendly in california.
    On the build list-
    New Ribbon for eye
    Eye board
Potentially lower board as well if this one is toast
    Drill and tap Front cap
LPR of some kind + Tapeworm
Low Pressure Tank regulator (250 output)
Inception feedneck stub + some old ego feedneck
polish and clean everything on the inside
remove "kill tally" marks and stickers

Watcha think guys? is it feasible to turn this thing into a budget monster? or am i being a bit lofty here.

Imp parts are plentiful and usually cheap. Plus, that's a Team Lockout edition! 🤣

Do you guys think i could use one of these instead of getting an LPR tapework kit- im thinking of one of these and tapping a hole in the front cap or buying a vertical asa to mount the LPR- or do i want a 1/16" barb?

My understanding of the Tapeworm is that it isolates the LPR feed circuit in the body from the HPR input using those two seals you see in the picture.

I don't believe threading that fitting into the port on the front will actually accomplish what you're hoping.
