Anyone run their Sterling on 12g?

Anyone run their Sterling on 12g?
How do they do? Shot count?

Curious if I should go stock class or stay open class on mine ...

I switch back and forth between hpa and 12 grams and haven't had any issues with 12 grams. I usually don't have to adjust the velocity when I switch.

I've never actually counted shots but it is over 30. My play style is use them until the velocity is low or their empty and then franticly change the 12 grams in the middle of a fire fight. It adds some spice to your day.

XEMON I use a Freak barrel on mine.

How do you like yours as open class? I've only used mine with the feed tube.

I had one a while back and sold it, kinda miss it so I broke on the last one that came through. It's RF, but I'm probably going to do some milling work on it and trying to decide wether to go SC, stay open or go interchangeable ...
It worked great on open class, never had an issue in HPA, never ran it on CO2.

I had some stiffer springs made up by Lee spring. They were a bit pricy but I got a lil more efficacy out of my Sterling. I do want to try going a lil stiffer see if I can pick up some more shots. I'm getting about 30 at 280fps on a warm day shooting slow. Like Brian said it shoots great on both air sources. I'm running a freak bore all-American barrel on mine.

About to order some Sterlings from Australia what springs do I need and does anybody on here need some?

When it gets in I’d recommend taking the internals out and cleaning off the grease. You may have to play with the autotrigger adjustment as well.

Ok I thought someone on here was looking. I'll buy an extra pair I think he goes to Slim's stock class event. It's 2 different springs correct?

Thank you rock! Shipping for two springs alone was like $35 but with the purchase of a marker you get free shipping. I will definitely be at Slims. I need the two stiff springs for 12g play.
