    T15 Issues

Bought a T15 with the Anti Chop Lok Bolt from MCS (confirmed its functioning because I cannot dry fire with it). I'm running a Ninja flex regulator at 1100 PSI as it also has a full auto kit installed. I have a Lapco .683 AC rifled barrel. First strike rounds purchased from ANSGear a month ago. Here are the problems I am having:

Round ball -- multiple balls shooting out on a single trigger pull (in semi mode). Bought new magazines and the problem is even worse (3/4/5 balls roll out at a time when pulling the trigger). Not a detent issue in my mind because balls aren't rolling out until I engage the trigger. I'm thinking the spring tension may just be THAT strong.

First strike: breaking a FS in the barrel every few shots, CONSISTENTLY. Feeding issues -- the anti chop bolt has saved me a couple times already with misfeeds where the FS round gets stuck cockeyed in the breech. On one instance, with the gun SAFETY ON, I cleared the round, put a new mag in, and as soon as the mag latched, the gun fired. Very alarming as there was no trigger pull and safe was on, almost as if it had remained charge from the original trigger pull that the anti chop bolt prevented from firing because the FS round went in cockeyed. Is this normal?

Thinking out loud -- I think my roundball problem is spring tension and my FS problem is my .683 rifled barrel is just too tight for a potential batch of FS rounds on the larger side. I read online that tons of folks run .683 rifled barrels with their FS with no problem though.

Any experts out there have some more insight based on the above data?

So I went and bought a couple of these one was CQB small size and I was so mad, they wouldn’t work with round ball because of how junky the balls are these days, never worked unless your shooting first strike and I did but I moved over to the mg100 and that’s usually all I shot because round ball in the mg100 was fine if you liked to shoot around the corner every other shot. Or see other comments for troubleshooting

even tho i am with Legacy, ill help ya out. first couple of issues, 1100 is WAY to high, you need to drop it down to 850 or 900, check your recock and make sure its 2/3rds closed. you are over pressuring the system and can damage the internals.

as for the roundball, you can do a test, take the upper and take a magazine loaded with round ball and put it up against the breach such as if the lower was attached., i would remove the bolt and spring so you can look down the whole upper and barrel and see how the paint reacts. if you see it double feed, you know the issue, springs are too strong,

first strike rounds tend to get caught on each other in the magazine when going around the bend of the magazine, the fins are too aggressive and "sharp" which cause locking. take two FSR and rub them together on their sides, you will see the fins catch like a gear, and when 3 catch and dont allow movement they cause feeding issues. to solve this, you essentially smack the magazine. it is annoying but the only thing that can stop it until legacy releases a new magazine.

after i typed all this, i just remembered something, i know the lok bolt typically doesnt allow this but do you store the gun with the bolt not cocked but has the lok bolt in the gun? such as is the bolt tip in the breach, this can cause the detents to warp and allow double feeding. if not, please send a photo of the breach.
