Questions on 68 Carbine valve reduction fitting

I am rebuilding my 68 Carbine and in the process of replacing all the o rings my rebuild kit doesn't have the valve reduction fitting o-ring and I don't know what size to get. I also am looking to replace the copper line with a steel braid but can't figure out what fitting to thread on the stock valve reduction fitting that has outer threads on it to then go into a 1/8 female.

      Hello :
This is the fitting you are looking for to allow you to use a steel braided line on your 68 -Carbine.

You should be able to locate one at your local hardware store in the gas/propane fitting section. Unfortunately i can't remember the thread size for reduction end. Worse case scenario, strip the gun down, take body to store and find the one that works.
      Hope this helps,Good Luck.

*EDIT* Just checked a fitting and i believe the reduction fitting is a 7/16-20 to 1/8 NPT Female. Please use this information for reference till you can confirm.

Holy shit I spent hours trying to find this part but they were sold out everywhere I looked. Thank you so much! I thought I was going to have to settle with some frankenstien'd fitting madness.

Good to know. I couldn't figure it out and ended up just buying a kit from tippmannparts

Someone sticky this tidbit, along with maybe the specs for the main spring on a pro lite!
