Hose adapter for a 98c Platinum?

Since my halfshell version uses non-standard hose ends, does anyone make an adapter?

None that I've seen. Most people will just drill the side of the body and use an older style valve.

I wonder if the Tippmann Engineer was drunk when they came up with this system? Or maybe they already had a contract to use something similar on a different project and used it for the 98c....

I assume you are talking about the swaged fitting? Im willing to bet that was all a manufacturing cost thing.

The old design required a human to thread the braided line into the valve. the swaged one likely gets pressed together in an automated system on the fly.
