    SL-68 II tanks size

What size tanks do y'all run on your SL? I'm thinking of setting mine up as a modified stock class with stick feed and small tank. I'm looking at the 17/3000 hoping it's still long enough to shoulder but not as long as the 22/3000.

Also, if anyone does run the 17/3000 approximately how many shots are you getting per tank?

I have a 68/45 that feels far too big even when running a hopper, so running it with a stick feed is out of the question.

I run mine with a 3.5/4oz CO2 and a stick feed, feels like a damn toy. It's not really shoulder-able, but that's never been a real issue for me. I've run mine with my 15/45 before and it was a little easier to handle, I imagine a 17/3 would feel similar. I would expect you would be able to get 120-150 shots off a 17/3 depending on barrel bore/paint.

Id imagine a sl feels good with a 45/45 tank on it. But I think a 17 would be a good length with it also.

If I were running an sl. It would be with a 50 round hopper, and a 45/45. With a few 50 round pods on the back.

i think sls are pretty efficient if you get a nice barrel. Id bet you could very well likely get that 150 on a 17.

Side note. Is it even hitting 280 on hpa?

Mine is not getting 280, yet. From what I understand a little messing with the spring and you can get it up to useable speeds. I just haven't done it yet.

Boomer from Woodland Security does some extensive work to SL68s from opening up ait through passage in the frame to valve work. He gets sl 68s shooting over 280 on hpa. If springs dont work out you may have to open things up. I figured you had one boomer modded honestly.

I talked to him last season, them I barely played and forgot about it. I'll probably end up having him do his magic on it this year. I also had his brother print out a new pump handle I'll have to get from him.

I just read about the springs a couple days ago. So that's still kinda murky waters for me. Sounds like results were not super consistent that way.

I run mine on either a 13 ci (with a SHP reg) or a 45/45. With the 13ci I can get at least 150 shots, but really need to fill up after each game. With the 45/45 feels like it lasts forever though.

Stick fed you can get away with a 17ci on anything. It’s a great length to. Definitely my favorite for any off the bottom of the grip Setup. I have run my Emek with a JoLo and 5x 50 round pods off a 17 before without issues.

Most fields around me don't do Co2 any more.

a small 13 /3000 ninja tank would be a similar dimensions to a 7oz....but i cannot speak to shot count
