    Pro Lite Power Tube Pin

So the pin on one of my pro lite powertubes split in half. I plan to replace it with a set screw, but I noticed that there's a flat in the middle of the pin where the valve hits. Is it like this from the factory or does it just wear down?

Thanks for the info. On a related note, what is the best way to keep the velocity screw from backing out? Loctite won't work and the cut in the body for the set screw isn't big enough for a cap head screw with a spring.

Put loctite on the screw and let it dry before installing. The dry loctite won’t loc it in place but it will restrict it from backing out.
