    Prolite and Carbine Parts Compatibility?

So what compatibility is there between the Prolite and the two Carbine models? I believe the grip frames? Not the valves? Hammer, drive spring, linkage arm, bolt, powertube?

    none of the above.
Grip frames can swap. Back cap. Front grip, Barrel and latch. guide rod. The prolite sight rail fits on the pc. I think that’s it.

I'm no expert, afaik infamoussmiley seems to be the local PC expert, but I do know the valves are not compatible, nor are the linkage arms. The bolts are different sizes, slightly, but do work in both. The drive spring guide rods are different length as well I believe, but can be interchanged. The grip frames are not interchangeable, at least going from a PL to a PC, but the bottomline gripframe tippmann offered for the PL appears to my untrained eyes to be extremely similar to the stock PC gripframe, so.... Obviously the back cap, top sight, barrel and shroud/feedneck are the same, save the difference between the plastic and aluminum top sight.

You can put a prolite grip on a pro or 68 carb but it takes a bit of creativity to get the airlines run. I swapped one onto a 68 quite a few years back. It was actually a pretty damn cool little piece but probably not worth the trouble. I like the prolite grip and asa but it’s not practical vs a 45 with bottom line options

Related question- is converting a Carbine to a ProCarbine as easy as grinding off the front of the sight rail so that a ProLite forearm will slide on? Has anyone ever done this?
