SL68 2 cracked feedneck.

I picked this up on ebay last week. How do people deal with the cracked feedneck situation? Do they weld or patch it or do the cut it off and install a feedneck?

I wonder if you could have it cut down and milled to accept an Empire or Eclipse clamping feedneck, like what superman does with old Autocockers.

you would need. 0.2" above whatever the highest part of the body is in order to make it happen.

Usually I've seen people JB weld a piece of copper pipe in the cracked feedneck and then go from there.
