    TIPX First Strike

What bolt works best with which D breech?

The one I've had the best results was stock bolt on custom machines stock breach and stock 7rd mags modded for FSR.

the stock barrel isn't great, the LionClaw was pretty good, haven't tried the nemesis or anything like that.
Love my brass ... Love my SSR ... Hard choices ...

Interesting. I have two TIPXs that have first strike breaches and techt bolts but I’ve never shot a first strike. What do you need to do to modify the mags?

Zeta and Tippmann 12rd mags are ready out of the box. I believe the 7rd mags just need to have the top hole filed into a D.

I was looking at the Hammerhead barrel. Is the lok bolt with it? I heard the tipx likes to chop. I was gonna dial this down to like 260 for efficiency. I see Sconi makes a D breech

I just received a used TiPx today with (unexpectedly) a dual-detent FSR breech and there is a lot of evidence that it has chopped paint, but I didn't have any chops in the ~50rnds of round paint I put through it. A few times I was trying to see if it would. It doesn't look like the bolt is a long-range one, but I'll have to pull it apart to know for sure.

I bought it specifically for using FSRs which I've never used before. After putting a couple through it with a stock A-5 barrel, holy sh-- that stuff is paintball crack; I'm hooked...and going to go broke from it.
