    Tippmann Carbine RT/Cyclone mod

I've seen the youtube video and ancient sales add on PBnation. Not much info about it from there other than that it's been done and exists.

Any idea how he did it? His add says it has a new valve, which makes me assume he used the pre-tapped valve from a 98 custom and then just drilled the body for the hoses/screws that go into the valve for those add-ons/mods.

You won't fit a M98 valve in a Carbine body. He likely measured carefully and then drilled in the correct spot to access the blowback gas channel.
And God turned to Gabriel and said: “I shall create a land called Canada of outstanding natural beauty, with majestic mountains soaring with eagles, sparkling lakes abundant with bass and trout, forests full of elk and moose, and rivers stocked with salmon. I shall make the land rich in oil so the inhabitants prosper and call them Canadians, and they shall be praised as the friendliest of all people.”

“But Lord,” asked Gabriel, “Is this not too generous to these Canadians?”

And God replied, “Just wait and see the neighbors I shall inflict upon them."

okay, i can agree that they aren't interchangeable,

but i would like to submit for the record that im only aware of RT mods being successful with the pro-carbine, not the older 68 carbine

Most of the RT/Cyclone mods that i remember were done by SquidVision. He had documented his builds here on MCB prior to the crash ,haven't seen any activity on here in awhile. At least a point of reference. but you may be able to find info through the Way Back Machine website.

I know Squid, hqvent talked to him for a year or so. Hes still quite the creator, but more of a family guy now. Hes always adventuring. Hasnt balled in a decade likely, if he has he didnt hit me up. But I had a pro carb he was gonna do for me. We discussed it 2 ish years ago. Unfortunately that pro carb died in a fire. I lent it out with a bunch of other gear to a friend who was just starting out. His apartment building burned down he lost everything including his dog. Pro carb was in the mix. I still have the 98 rt kit sitting here.

This is correct. And yes, the pro/carbine uses the CVX valve (its own version, as mentioned above).

I made a version too. It had a thread on the old MCB. I may still have the write up.

                  Best,
