    A5 feed neck adapter

Has anyone used any of the A5 feed adapters to get rid of the cyclone? I know it's kinda the whole schtick of the A5 but I have always hated the cyclone. I saw python had made one and it has gotten me interested. I have a team mates old A5 with x7 electric grip I would like to keep on the field but likely won't personally use it much if the cyclone stays on it.

I purchased one of these feed necks on eBay a few years ago. Cost was $27. I was worried the 3D print wouldn't hold up well, but seemed solid enough to do the job. The biggest draw back was the height of the hopper, as a Rotor was not positioned an inch higher than the A5 body. The balance of the marker felt off, but then again it could also take some getting used to. My approach was to get around the problems that I had with my cyclone feed, as the Rotor shark fin was nice to clear out any jams. I later learned the cyclone feed upgrade parts were terrible quality and it was better to stick with original parts.

I paid the 50 bucks for a python feedneck for a nostalgic pro A5 I put together. I've yet to field it though. It's a really nice feedneck, but the base is 3d printed. I think back in the day it was machined delrin. The profile and weight are awesome for my rig. Though I build a very unorthodox rig..

I know my front sight is backwards. I dont think I was paying attention when I put it on.

This is actually AKA's A5 by the way. I have all his old markers. He's asked me to sell them for him but I'm going to give him the cash for the A5 just to keep it on the field locally.

I remember AKA! He was an iconic field presence when I was just getting into the sport for sure! I hope he is doing well. How old is he now?

I'm now torn on buying something of his, but I'm drowning in a room of guns as it is.

I think he said he's pushing 70 now. He's moving out of country and needs to get rid of pretty much everything. Back when he was playing regularly was some of the most fun paintball for me. Sad to see him officially hanging it up.
