Getting ready to tackle my final Tippmann project before I move on and I’m really liking the idea of the mechanical “E bolt”. I know I need a pulse valve, flow control valve, and a control valve but which ram would be ideal?

Brad Kastleberry in the Model 98 Enthusiasts group on FB was making new ones I believe for 150 a pop. I don't know if he's here on MCB But I'd assume he is. -
I did some pretty extensive research on this in case anybody is interested. You really need a one way ram to make a mech bolt and the only one that’s really practical is the GTA. Most rams are 2 way. There are ways around this like blocking off the return and creating a spring return or even adding a additional pulse valve for the return, but, for me, it’s just not something I’m interested in doing and would end up being more costly and labor intensive than I have time for.Comment
