    68 Carbine Cyclone

Anyone ever put a cyclone on a 68 carbine?

I've seen rt pistons put into newer carbines but never a cyclone.

I do have to ask why. I used to love the cyclone hopper in it's day, but with today's tiny paint, I can't imagine they work well anymore in general.

It would require a significant body mods or a custom feed neck to function. Better off just throwing a revy on.

      Edit...

You might be able to get a BT rip clip to fit though

I think either way the alignment would be an issue. You would have to get the fins/drive cone a pretty exact distance from the centerline of the bolt in order to make sure the paint lines up correct when in use. Too far and you'll have a gap between the paint allowing the ball in the breach to potentially roll halfway back out. Too close and the cyclone fins could be impacting the bolt or trying to push a portion of the 2nd ball into the breach

There is a video on YouTube of a guy who put an RT and Cyclone on a 68 or Pro Carbine. Doesn’t seem crazy difficult
