Finished Carver one and 98 spring feeds

Finally finished up my 98 spring feed. Both have firestorm "magazines". The Carver one is a 20 rounder. Just some JB quick weld and they've been pretty solid. Click image for larger version

Nice, those look good, how hard are they to reload on the field?

Haven't fielded, but with some practice, reloading musket style. Barrel up, open the cap, lock the spring back, load, cap and release the spring

They feed just fine, the 98 was harder to align properly

Like any blow back on 12 gram...that's dual 12 so about 25 -30 before the power drops off

I actually like Carver Ones, at least the ones I handled back in the day. If I were to get some sort of 98 derivative, that would likely be it. It's like a 98 that handles like a Pro Carbine. I bet if I cleaned one of these up, it'd be a nice loaner.
