Howdy everybody,
Ive got an X7 phenom im having issues with. When on semi auto it doesnt fire. It works fine in full auto, and switches off when on safe, but nothing happens when on semi. Ive tried to do the usual troubleshooting stuff, wiggled the selector to see if its just a little misaligned, made sure there no loose connections, checked the board programming, etc. I cant find a diagram of the board or anything online to help. It looks like theres 2 hall sensors (or something like them) tripped by the trigger assembly. Im thinking theres one for full auto and one for semi, and the one for semi is bad.
My questions to the great experts here are: Does anybody have any familiarity with this issue and how to resolve it? Does anyone know which sensor is which and if they are for each mode or one is fire and one is safe? How do I separate the board and components from the plastic enclosure without damaging them, do I have to desolder the capacitor or am I missing something?
