    Tippmann factory F/A

Hi everyone and thanks for the add . I have played paintball since the nineties for fun and got into collecting about 20 years ago . I have an opportunity to purchase a tippmann factory F/A the seller wants 200$ it looks like it was never used I have tried researching it but info is scarce I appreciate any helpful tips thanks in advance . I went ahead and bought it it is so clean and I got a bonus the vhs with instructions the thing is the bottom of the grip shows some scratches deep ones .seller said it was storage and handling . I got it for $150

The special spring is tricky if it gets messed but they are a tippmann and generally reliable and way cool. Not super popular or easy to resell but mega rare and if its a keeper its a no brainer.

I have one and they are fun but I always put a pro carbine fore grip on it because I didn't want to damage the cyclone feed clock spring

How did you get the Pro Carbine neck to work? The feed port on the FA is at the 3 o'clock and doesn't work with my Pro Lite / Carbine front furniture. Did you cut or modify yours?

I had a spare one that 24 year old me "modified" and it worked crappily at best. When it worked it was great but that was like 30 percent of the time

I've always wanted to fit a hot force-feed loader to one- a Halo or Rotor- and see if you could feed it without the actually kind of fragile clockspring thing.

I know you can since the ROF is adjustable and i always liked mine to have a slow ROF as it seemed more deliberate and menacing since you could hear every shot rhythmically

do let me know if its number 383, outside of that, its a steal. if you can, take a standard allen set with you and remove the feed cylinder and look for any hairline cracks. in the breech area. that it what would separate a wall hanger from a field gun for me.

Aw, one off! If it was 1-2-3-4 it'd be the same as your luggage combination!

@poppy024+ The receiver internals and valve are like the Pro Lite. I wouldn't mess with the rear piston / rate of fire parts unless they are messed up. I got lucky with my piston setup and didn't have to adjust so far. My wind up feeder is intact but I don't wanna even mess with it. I cannot find detailed instructions or a good exploded view of that windup cyclone

For image resizing - try opening the image in *Paint, then resize in the upper left corner - may have to go at it a few times til it shrinks appropriately. Or google a free resizing app

You could probably get a lot of information on it from Kenny Stewart. He runs the General Paintball Museum and has a travel trailer full of Tippmanns, he's collected ton of their stuff and talked with lots of their old employees on his various podcasts and videos too. He's on Facebook and YouTube and likely lurking around here somewhere.
