    BT Vertical Adapter/Original Vertical Adapter

I need to add a vertical chamber to this 98C. I have the original one-piece vertical adapter as well as two of the BT 3-piece vertical adapters.

How? I know the 98C LPK kits are nearly unobtanium but where can I find the vertical adapter to add the vertical chamber or a t-fitting to work with the BT 3-piece? Are these so hard to find? Or make? How else did you solve this problem?
Damn these valves and these 90° turns

WTB LPK vertical adapter or entire LPK, I guess

I never owned a Tippman or messed with an LPK so I apologize if this doesn’t help but what if you bought a brass vert adapter and did some sweating for an inline brass 3 way fitting??

That was an idea but my searches weren’t coming up fruitful. I was hoping someone had a piece found or at least something close enough. I’ll keep on the hunt.

I assume you're trying to get more gas volume to the valve? I too mused on this problem before but came up empty handed. What I ended up doing was putting a big honking gas-thru grip through a BT vert adapter. IDK if it did anything but it sure holds more air.

Another idea I had was to cut out the body and screw a mini cocker vasa straight into the valve then run a gas-thru into that. I didn't want to cut up the body so I didn't try it but that seems like the better way if you want volume.

I think it’s more directional than volume. I instantly lost 30fps when I installed the adapter. Although it has a larger ID compared to the braided line, I think the 90° turn before entering the valve is causing my problem.
I think a large volume gas-thru would help but that’s where I want my Stabilizer.
I like that mini cocker vasa idea. I didn’t know those existed. I’m not sure I want to cut on the body yet.

280fps (braided) with a soft green spring to the dreaded 250fps (vert adapt) with all spring strengths.

Certainly sounds like it's restricting things. Thinking back, I may have drilled out the air passage in my vasa a bit to get it flowing better. I'll check when I get home today.

Yep, I definitely drilled it out. Looks to be about 11/64ths. Might be worth a shot before trying to track down a LPK.

Thanks for checking. Something to add to the list.

I made my own lpk using the newer BT 3 piece. I got a 1/8 npt street tee and reamed out the hole to 3/8 amd lubed the shit out of the oring. After that I added a techt low pressure valve spring and shaved the valve down for lots of flow. Some kind of volumechamber is good to have. I used a gutted, drilled, and pluged WGP lpr

To actually assemble everything there will be some shaving of the tee fitting and the cases. Beyond that it just works.
