    New to me Angel A1

Somehow i was able to pick up an Angel A1, the board powers on the solenoid clicks and it leaks, i think i might have caused the leak as i put a high pressure tank on it.

I am looking at either rebuilding it myself or sending it to someone. I am thinking that it needs to be cleaned, lubed and oring replaced these are things that i can do but i do not want to destroy the marker.
If there is anyone local in the PacNW (or someone that wants to do Zoom, discord or some other video messaging) that might be willing to spend some time learning me I would greatly appreciate it or if there is someone that you group of people would recommend I am all ears. I know even if i could get a hold of East Coast Angels that they are not good. I have seen The Angel Guys are in the PNW and they may be an option I just want to ask and see if anyone has recommendation.

I recently got an 06 Angel Speed. The eyes didn't work. I called up The Angel Guy (Which is also the same people as Phantom-Online) and I spoke with Jesse. He was awesome, and gave me all these tips on how to fix it myself. I decided to just send it to them. They let me know when they got the marker. Then called and let me know the eyes were destroyed, and went over my options and what he recommended. He shipped it back to me within a week of receiving it. I bought my wife an Axe to use, but once she saw the Angel she thought it was "Pretty". So she used that all day and loved it. It shoots really nice. I will go with them again when/if I need them. I would highly recommend them.

I remember seeing people have this discussion on Facebook and they all said TAG was great, but expensive. Since I knew nothing about Angels I decided to go with them, and I am very happy I did.

The high pressure tank shouldn't cause a leak IMO. If it's leaking from the ram you may be in trouble because the stock A1 ram isn't rebuildable. I think the valve stems are hard to find too.

Bob Castleberry (Angel Whisperer on Facebook) or Tim Firpo (PaintballTek) would be my top choices for Angel Tech's these days.

It is leaking from the HPR right now so I am thinking of trying to rebuild the HPR but i will reach out to Bob and Tim and see if they have time.

To give an update I have a text in with Tim Firpo and have not heard back from him yet, i am looking to find Bob, and I reached out and talked with TAG. TAG told me that due to the variation in quality on the Angel A1 they do not accept them anymore however they have the oring kits as well as a replacement ram that they need to make sure if they have it in stock. I plan on finding Bod and seeing if he has time to go through this in the mean time i will be cleaning it, and trying to replace the parts i can.

Does anyone know if there is a list of Orings for this marker. It is the standard A1 not the A1 fly as far as i can tell. Besides the Oring and Ram is there anything that i need to get to sure that i have everything to put it back together?

Oh man that's good to know they don't accept A1's. I had been looking at picking one up for cheap and had planned to drop it off with them since they are local. Good luck with yours!

I talked to bob and he is willing to look at it for me. As soon as i get his info i will be sending it to him. Head-shot you might give them a call and ask to make sure i did not get someone who was just burnt out on them

            Correct, it's a standard A1.

i have am A1 Fly with a modified rebuildable ram. I cant believe Angel decided to use a not-rebuildable ram when they made this. so stupid. lol
either way, i brought it to work and used a set of calipers to get the ideal size rings. had to order 100 of each but now i have spares. gave some to my local field proshop as well.

predator makes a custom rebuildable ram that looks really nice.

you can experiment with it but without the high and low pressure testers, youll be tuning in the dark...

id send it out to be fixed and then just stay on top of the new issues as they come up.

i will say, its a blast to use an angel at the field. people of a certain age will be amazed and drooling over it, the newer players will have no idea what it is but like the way it looks; especially when you flip the roto breach lol

So I was able to talk to Bob Casselbery via the book of the face and he informed me that he has a new site to sell products, and get information about repairs. The new site is here https://www.casselberrycustoms.com/
