maybe its like the chevy camaro
people buy the origional 60's for the classic'ness
people buy the latest and greatest from the showroom currently.

not much love for the 80's and 90's though.
its just kind of an in-between thing.

Hmm. I don't know cause the Speeds are essentially the same markers except without some of the over-engineering. As is all Angels are over-engineered, but the Speeds kinda less so, but it's the same gun. In fact the 05 Speed is superior in performance to older flagship models. The way WDP marketed the Speeds was by saying and I quote: "Stripped of all non-essential features, the Speed is the all thrills, no frills paintball marker in the Angel line of products. As a result of this, Angel is able to provide a top-quality, fast marker at a very affordable price." And even so, as I mentioned, the Speeds still had a bunch of idiosyncrasies and over-engineered features. Just less so. But in terms of modern Angels say 05 and newer, apart from the A1 FLY, I don't think there is a "superior" Angel in terms of performance or shooting signature. It's not like we're comparing a DM6 and a PM6 which ran at a higher operating pressure, had lesser parts, and a weaker aesthetic appeal.
