I'd love to see WDP come back. That said I see your point punkncat. I'd love to see them come out with something maybe single trigger, semi only like a modern LED or something. That might turn the crank of people even with the push to fast mechanical right now (which frankly I'm all in favor of seeing mech and pump play grow and make the game more about skill is great)My feedback +38/-0 on old MCB

PTP. I know they're still technically in biz but they're not really doing anything. We need more Micro'd things with kickass anodizing - maybe an all aluminum MG100 Tec9 kit or a TIPX Uzi?Comment

I would give the 5 mil to Doc Brown, so He could send me 88 miles per hour in a DeLorean, landing in Latrobe, PA about ten minutes before the Gardner Dbags brothers called their first lawyer in their sue happy quest to ruin the sport.
I would use this time to Thrash on them for 9 mins and spend the last minute advising them it was in their best interest to let everyone have a piece of the pieComment

RP Scherer Paintball Division, right now the biggest downer for me and paintball is quality paintballs. At its peak no one beat RP Scherer at making and providing good quality paintballs.Last edited by Grendel; 05-06-2021, 01:43 PM.

Yeah I'd probably go with ICD. I still think the Freestyle shoots good enough to be a modern high end spool, just could use some modern updates to ergos and board. The shot quality is still top notch.Comment

JT when John and Rita still owned it. Iād love to see what they would do with current manufacturing and materials.

Bring back the St!ffi barrels.
I would rather invest in my own field to try to bring interest back.Comment

I'm really curious about what kind of crazy ideas Tom Kaye would come up with to compete with today's high end markers. I think enough time has passed that he would be free from his old Automag and backwards valve compatibility ideas. If he had a blank canvas in front of him, I wonder what he'd come up with.Comment

-Trust me when I say the reason few or no fields or stores have a full-time airsmith is there's nowhere near enough money in it. Anyone skilled enough to repair most anything that walks in the door, is going to go get- if you'll pardon the expression- a real job at an auto repair or diesel repair shop, or a machine shop.
And the flip side is anyone that will work for what most paintball shops can afford to pay, isn't going to be the best airsmith.

Yup. Same with bicycle shops, hobby shops, etc. Unless you find one with a passionate retiree (or the far more ellusive individual such as Doc) behind the counter you're likely in for a rough ride going in asking for repairs. The difference in pay is easily 2x, usually closer to 4x, based on my experience.Comment
