Any good fields in and around Massachusetts? Just moved up here for work from Jersey and once I get myself settled, I'd like to check out some fields.

Oh you're way out there haha. PNL is probably the closest decent woodsball field. Big field, lots of players, fairly well-run, usually a pretty good time. Has a little bit of everything, great woods fields, ten man hyperball, and airball.Originally posted by Magageddon View Post

Beyond that, Friendly Fire in Upton has been around for forever, they used to be great but I don't know anyone who's been there in ages so not sure how it stacks up nowadays.
I'd skip Boston PB's fields; Ashland has the super cool town but everything else is TINY fields, Chelsea is great for winter but expensive otherwise (I think still closed with COVID?), and Maynard is pretty much purely speedball.
Further out;
MA - Xtreme always has a pretty laid back rec scene and lots of players.
CT - Matt's Outback has a great speedball scene and a decent woods field. Personally not a fan of Hogan's Alley but I know other guys here like it.
NH -OSG has the best fields in New England. AG hosts Slim's stock class and is one of the oldest fields in the country.
Couple other fields out there but I think that covers most of them?Comment

Friendly Fire is a pretty good place to go. The staff/owners are friendly and they try to keep the games moving so plenty of play. The fields are well played so not a lot of woodsy natural cover but plenty of bunkers. Bring knee pads and shin guards the ground is mostly rocks and boulders. Friendly Fire is my go to for a quick day of play if I don't go hand out with the reprobates in Coventry RI (CapitalPaintball's outlaw group) If you like woods play on a large format the Coventry outlaw group makes for a great day.

UBG in Bridgewater used to be CC PB in Bourne....they look mostly airsoft after the move, they still do PB?
Good to see that friendly fire is still around...practically lived there on weekends 20 odd years ago. Great rec field that's not bad to get to. Always a lot of regulars from RI and CT.Comment
