What is the most popular format among MCB members?

I'm just curious what style the average MCB member prefers. I realize that there is going to be a lot of crossover among players, but if you had to choose only one, what would you say your primary would be? I have my suspicions, but I'd be interested to see what the numbers actually come out to be.

Had to go with open class pump, as the "if there were only one". Lately it has been my TJD pneumatic assist sniper or a classic blowback semi of some design.

It wouldn't be a poll without at least one netsurferdude2 smart comment.

Definitely open class pump. It's funny, just 2 weeks ago I was in a game in the middle of fire fight when a ref came running up to me asking if I wanted to be playing pump with an emphasis on the wanted. He was trying to offer me an electro from an eliminated player. I had to turn him down a few times before he went away.

Ended up circling behind the other team and won that game. Found the ref after and let him know pump was fine.

To me open class pump is my basic "catch all" I can do hopper ball, stock class, magfed, single shot or bolt-action.....All the styles of pump play that I like. 😁

Agreed. I like Stock class, but I also like not having to burn through 12 grams.

          I tend to play MAK-Fed Phantom with remote-line and 12oz CO2 tank.( To save the 12grams )

Stick feed is my favorite kind of play, regardless of the gun that it's on. That said I picked stock class cause it's always my goto grab-n-go format.

Tank and bunker busting, could be single shot, could be pump. All depends what I am using that day.

I'll play pretty much any game and use whatever I feel works the best but I tend to favor open class pump. Regardless I like to play in line with the crowd I'm running with at the time. If I am playing rec ball at a new field it is always open class pump because that is the way I am most comfortable playing.

That’s a tuff one. I love open class pump and play it more than anything else generally. But I had to vote for mech semi, as when it boils right down too it. My favourite markers Of all time are Mech Automags.

Electro. I use my Mini most of the time despite almost exclusively playing rec woodsball. It's light, easy on paint, and my arthritic trigger finger doesn't hurt after pulling a trigger all day.
And God turned to Gabriel and said: “I shall create a land called Canada of outstanding natural beauty, with majestic mountains soaring with eagles, sparkling lakes abundant with bass and trout, forests full of elk and moose, and rivers stocked with salmon. I shall make the land rich in oil so the inhabitants prosper and call them Canadians, and they shall be praised as the friendliest of all people.”

“But Lord,” asked Gabriel, “Is this not too generous to these Canadians?”

And God replied, “Just wait and see the neighbors I shall inflict upon them."

I have to agree. I voted for mechanical semi out of nostalgia (and loyalty to my Automag), but I just as often, if not more, play with my electro for convenience. Is it necessary for rec woodsball? No, but it's nice to have.

while I'll play most everything, I still probably play electronic more than anything else, so I figured I'd be honest and select it.

I think mech semi is the most overall fun for me. I like using pumps, but Im only okay with them. When I play semi I feel like I can actually be part of the scenario by staying alive a little longer, and being able to make more moves. The place I usually frequent is hilly, thick, and not semetrical. I will flank and move just fine with a pump. But Ill lose a trade out 9 times out of 10 in a firefight with my pumps . I have a bunch of friends whom play pump very capabily out there, but Im not one of them. I like to try to challenge myself, but when you spend all day walking back to reinsertion, vs flipping flags, I tend to put the pumps away for a semi to just " play".

the exception to this was my bob long bodied sniper. I could drill darts with that bish, and I had a blast using it always. Long story short an old teammates father called me, and asked to buy it for said teammate's graduation gift. ( he was always fond of it).

I couldnt resist as I was mid paintball hiatus anyways. but if I still owned that marker, Id likely submit a different answer.
