What semi is called a Nightmare? I thought the semi version of a BE Nightmare was the original Golden Eagle.

The Golden Eagle was an original gun. But I meant the original "Eagle". It was the semi conversion of the Nightmare that was usually called the "semi" Nightmare. Not to be confused with the BE Eagle pistol that came out in the 90s.

The M2 and M3 can either be DYE brand tournament markers or Chinese knock-off Spyders and cockers. Mokal pulled the move of releasing the Aura twice as two entirely different markers, one is an old school blowback, the other is an Ion style spool that became the Valken Proton.

I don't count "series" markers, like the Intimidator, DM, Ego, Geo, etc. with their different versions that are sequential, but you do have the Shocker and Impulse that have each been released as 3-4 significantly different markers as someone mentioned before. (Shocker: PVI, Smart Parts "Shoebox", SFT/NXT series, and RSX/XLS) (Original SP Impulse, 09 Impulse, JT Impulse).

There is also the "Rail", which can be the Proto rail, or the PMR Proto Matrix rail, with a few different year versions to go around, or it can also be the Proto Reflex Rail. They all share the same bolt design, but differentiating them can be difficult. I consider the Rail to be a series, but different than the high-end flagship series markers that consistently "move forward", while the Rails are all over the place in terms of improvements or cost cuts.

I also laugh at the Sheridan/Azodin KP series confusion. Almost no one is interested when I mention I have a KP2 Stock Class sitting around.

There is some terrible semi-auto Trracer called the Trracer SA. The original Trracer was a good value, the SA just looks like a cheap POS.

Mini can refer to a type of Autococker or Axe.

There was a time when "mini" meant a vert-asa version of a gun. ie Mini-mag, Mini-hog, Mini-light
The mini-cocker was odd in that it was a version with the vert-asa removed.

There was also the Brass Eagle Mini II. One of the coolest looking guns that were ever made. Also coolest sounding as it fired. Brap-p-p-p-p

Of course, these days, "mini" refers to Omega-based guns. Not to be confused with the BT Omega

Boomsticks. If you played b/n '96 and '02 you KNOW the difference between the Dye barrels. They were THE barrel to have. And they're certainly not all "Broomsticks" - they're distinctly different barrels.

Dye Aluminum (1 piece)
Dye Stainless (1 piece)
Dye Boomstick (2-piece w/ stainless or TI back, originally the front was un-threaded and glued in place - came threaded on later versions)
Dye Ultralite (2-piece all aluminum, was always threaded but the originals came glued in place (kinda difficult to break free))
