I have long hair, and it is quite a bit longer since last time I played. Not quite sure what to do with these luscious locks during paintball. What do you do? Leave it down? Ponytail? Back bun? Top knot?

Hey Longhairs, what do you do with your long hair?

My hair is down to my butt crack. Use several elastics to hold it back into ponytail. Tuck ponytail into jersey to keep clean from spray.
A balaclava under mask can help keep long hair in front from falling into your eyes.

That balaclava idea is pretty good!

I use one made by Cool'r, originally intended for use with a motorcycle helmets. Very thin, breathable, and soaks up sweat like a sponge:
Heat-Out Cool'R takes performance base layers to a new level with advances in heat control, perspiration management and lightweight flexibility to ens…
The company that makes it has all kinds of undergarments that are great for pulling sweat away. Their cold weather stuff is pretty good too, very thin.

My last haircut was March 12 2020 (day before the pandemic became a serious thing). For the first time ever, I have long hair (ok not that long, but much longer than I've ever had it).
When I'm playing, or just working around the house, I'll tuck my hair behind my ears, then put a backwards ball cap on, and it'll keep my hair out of my face. I'm not at the point where I have to worry about it getting caught or tons of spray in it, so I can't help you there.

I had my hair long for 3yrs, then buzzed it. When playing ultimate I used the longer flex hair bands that you can wear several different styles.worked great and help with the sweat.
Since pandemic I have not gotten a hair cut, down pass my shoulders and since sports are starting up soon. I will have to pick up couple of those again.

Lol, I have been actively growing my hair out for about the past 5-6 years. The last year and a half have actually hurt in that I am not going to sit for a cut with a mask on, and the split ends are keeping it around the mid lower part of my back. I thought about shaving it off last summer but decided I had put too much work in and aside from that, once I do I will be much more grey headed than red headed I suspect.
I wear a "do-rag" and a ponytail. Actually wear the pony tail about 99% of the time. I was of some erroneous idea that once it grew long enough to tuck behind my ears.....nope, it's ALWAYS in your eyes, in your mouth, blowing across your face, in your food, drink...The one that really bugs me is when I forget to grab it while leaning over to spit out toothpaste. It's long enough to land IN the sink and IN the toothpaste.
