RaySun is the maker I saw quoted.
regardless, if I was FS I’d admit to a rebranded import before I defended my own R&D on this piece.

What? The raysun is a semi auto, Rosco is a revolver

Best case scenario is your keep the hammer, 12g changer and the trigger and then redesign the rest. I don't see how that's a rebrand at all

So it's an original but crappy design?

I mean I don't think it's really out yet there's been some models that have gotten into hands of people mainly retailers to do videos but it's hasn't been released as a full production model from what I've seen so hard to say that it's crappy

But from what I've seen the down sides are pretty minimal

          1) high or low velocity valves but no real adjustment outside of that

          2) I've heard some conflicting info on how easy/hard it is to change 12g but really, I'm guessing you'll need to go through 40 or more shots before needing a new 12g so you are looking at needing at least 6 cylinders on the field with you

          The up sides though

          1) able to work as single or double action, hell yes please

          2) mounts for under barrel and sight on top

          3) cylinders are $10/2

          4) break action! I'm a cowboy!

          5) aluminum for end, not huge but hey, maybe I want to mount a grenade launcher and need to thread some holes

I'm fairly excited about it and I'm usually not a fan of FS products. While its still years off, I'm sure I'll play 50cal with my daughter some day and a revolver sounds like a great way to limit myself and shoot something unique

The Rosco is semi auto as well. The double action moving “hammer” is super cool looking but the valve train still functions as a semi.

listen, I’m not a FS hater, I support all the innovations they have brought. They made common the taboo things we have debated on paintball forums for nearly 2 decades. Scopes, sights, ballistics, range of fire, detention systems (kidding, the 8.1 sucked).
Regardless, I still can’t imagine a new R&D designed pistol by FS being designed and built from the ground up completely missing the velocity adjustment.
maybe someone closer to the project has insight?

And I agree that the double action part is super duper cool

What? Where are you getting this from?

That would require the raysun to also be able to function as single and double action. Basically it wouldn't be semi auto because nothing would reset after each shot

Regardless, even if that is true it's still not a rebrand, you can't go buy raysun magazines and expect them to work in the Rosco. Maybe you can do that for the valve itself but as fs has "high" and "low" velocity valves it seems they may have made changes there as well

The etha 2 isn't a rebranded cs even though they use the same valve, everything around that valve is different

The warrior ew1 IS/was a rebrand because it literally is a spyder vs1

Well than strike it from the record.
fuck, I don’t want to debate the one word “rebranded” with you.
              thanks.

I still am curious where you are getting info from

I wouldn't put it past fs to buy? Raysun just to use the valve, it just seems like an odd choice if their whole goal was to create the Rosco

Anyway back to ballistics, has anyone compared fs50 to fs68?
