What's your weird vice marker?

I have been playing this silly game a long time and have probably owned and or sold 100+ markers of all levels over the last 30+ years but I just have a soft spot for an old crappy Kennimex pump marker.

Long story short, when I first started playing I was young and had no money so I played with borrowed markers and finally ended acquiring a Kennimex Blackhawk from somewhere, not even really sure where it came from, it was basically worthless. That was the first marker I ever really got to know and be really proficient with then somewhere along the way I got my Sniper 2 and have been shooting that for the last 25 or so years.

That being said, I recently re-aquired an old kennimex pump and can't seem to put it down. It shoots straight as an arrow, has alot of crappy plastic and makes wierd sounds but for some reason it is awesome.

Just curious is anyone else is crazy enough to go onto a modern field with one of or things or is there some other funky marker you just have a soft spot for?

Two great examples..... A black heart boarded sp1 I used till I couldn't find parts (solenoid death) and current I love the emek platform.

The first electronic marker I had experience against was an EM1. We were shooting a mix of things like Stingrays, various Tippmann, some various STBB....we all thought we were going to die.

I have a soft spot for over engineered / over complicated marker ... My absolute favorite semi is the vector, the best mech trigger I ever shot ... But also love my ATS.
the thumper is up there too, and I recently got an epic on the list ...

I like fine mechanic and out of the box/ahead of its time stuff ...

I hear ya on that. I like the B2Ks and BKOs. Super cheap and once the regs are set up they just run & don’t stop. Super good, cheap electros.

Id love to eventually get a either a giant golden eagle or a barracuda with the 21in barrel. Just ridiculously oversized is the main reason i want one. With everything going small and light these days. Big is cool

Spyder imagine. It's been converted to mech and is undergoing an attempt at low pressure. Not sure why it gets me so excited every time I see it.

Imagines are one of those that have sort of always been there. Everyone knows someone who's owned an Imagine. Solid Spyder functionality with good firepower & a good price tag. They really are great paintguns. I myself think the mid-cocking window is aesthetically pleasing.

I find myself oddly excited for cheap plastic Tippmann guns. Like, I thought the Carver One looked so cool. And I was planning on buying a Cronus for basically no reason (I don't need it. I have a 98C and A5), until I found the Stormer. Now I'm dying for a Stormer. I don't even play magfed. But I think the Stormer is so cool. I don't know what's wrong with me.

I never use any of them with the only exception being the TMC which I loan out at games. I hide them inside a cupboard deep within my PB garage corner. They look like toys, its embarrassing. My girlfriend still thinks Im cool and I gotta maintain that.

And it should come as no surprise Im the guy with a golden DAM.

Dangerous Power E1. It was first of only two electros I have ever owned. It was a fun shooter and I loved its simplicity. No complicated menus. It was on or off. Nice and simple. Super light small and tight.

Sold it cause I almost never used it preferring my mags still. But I still think it was a fun shooter and wish I kept it.

I always thought they were underappreciated. I liked mine as well. Simple two piece body/frame design, semi-auto board, clean and simple lines, and dirt cheap. I think there were only 3 or 4 o-rings in the whole damn thing. I loved it.

For some reason Nelsons with drop out changers hit a soft spot. Pretty much any of them but specifically those pointman style Phantoms and Bushmasters but also I had a Trrracer a long time ago that had a drop out and the feednecks on those had an o-ring to hold a 10round tube and that was my favorite stick feed gun.

In terms of guns I own and collect its stock class sheridans. They always just spoke to me with their 3 tube design and heft of brass. They're pretty crap guns to play with but they just have so much soul.

For a couple years it was Bob Long Insights. I gave up on those after getting sick of constantly changing orings. Now I'm into mid 00's Dye/Proto Matrixs.

Blowbacks! Especially the ones with cool milling/colours. Chameleon and realtree Tippmanns, Spyder SEs (really any old school Spyder) and Piranhas with the cool gill cuts or lighting anno.

Even the new ugly Tippmanns are pretty cool. The Cronus is ugly as sin but super light and comfortable. I also find myself drawn to the cheap magfed blowbacks. Very tempting to pick up a beater Tippmann on the cheap and throw it in a RAP4 kit. I find it ridiculous to pay $500+ for a blowback because it's 1:1 with an AR15. I can buy an EMF100 for the same or less. I'm always amazed by how much pricing has changed (especially for Tippmann products) from when I was on Badlands every day after school looking at the products.

ICD Promasters. My first "high-end" electro was a blue Lasoya that I bought off the floor of a local shop six years ago for 25 bucks, and it is my go-to electro followed by my butterknife Angel.

I had a nice cherry'd out Promaster with ALL the bells and whistles that I really regret selling. ICDU rammer, eBay valve, Kila board, Kila detents, CP sling, QEV, SCMIII. I've never shot a poppet that was so smooth. Egos had nothing on it. Then, like a moron, after ten years I sold it.

I purchased a "new old stock" Lasoya ~5 years ago - it's got AKA HPR/LPR, MacDev RED valve, ICUD ram, Kila board/detents, CP trigger.....totally excellent shooter.
