Finally Hit The Field After 2 Years

Got my first field time in in 2 years. Felt good to play, although for some odd reason my gear seemed a little tight…

Played the entire time with my Dragon build I just finished. Only needed a little reg adjustment to chrono at 270 and was good to go. Really impressed by the Slice pump kit as well. Felt great to use.

Turns out the local field rents Emeks as well, so got to shoot one finally. Not my cup of tea, but damn better than any rental I’d used before.

And, hopefully, convinced a local to join up on MCB. He’s got some real nice retro goodies he was thinking about selling, so you’re all welcome in advance.

Man. If felt so good to hit the field when I did this spring. I can imagine how ya feel. Now you just gotta build on the momentum. This year feels like itll be a good year for ball.

I have yet to have use my Slice kit in game. Hopefully it works out well. Still have to play with the hammer spring ‘cuz it’s shooting a little hot.

Been out 3 times this year. Have a game planned for every month up through October.

I was having spring and valve issues at first but then went the easy route and dropped in an ID lower tube kit in from Maier. The kit offers pretty good bang for the buck and followed the spring advice from ID and everything worked perfect. Very happy with the results and the time save on spring swapping.

Hit the field a couple times this year but got burnt out the day the field had their first tournament day. That and for some reason I really just desire laid back woodsball days with beer, not this bro-speedball stuff. Will probably go back and play some ball next weekend to see if the vibe hits right.

Good to hear you made it back out though! Paintball can be either the absolute height of a fun day or the absolute pits if the game/field/group isn't quite right. Glad you had a good one.

The mix was pretty good on the field with renters and gun owners. Got caught on the wrong side of a egrip’d X7 Phenom the odd time, but nothing horrible. All woodsball. speedball isn’t my thing.

Guys in general were complementary about good shots etc after the games. My group was 6 people as well and I’m pretty sure they’re hooked. Be nice to play with a few guys consistently as enjoy playing more that way.
