Got in my MacDev E-Type yesterday and did a live teardown on my FaceBook page. Jump to the 2 Minute mark if the video doesn't automatically start there.
Very nice. I bought the last one off of eBay, the one without the jewel, anxiously waiting for it to swim its way here. I'm really curious if it'll shoot or if I'll spend the next decade trying to track down seals. The only one that looks sketchy is that hard plastic disc - maybe it'll all work out...

That disc does seem to be the only odd-ball part of it, no real positive sealing surface on the reg back or the pin, just hopes and dreams keeping it sealed.
Good breakdown video. I didn't take mine apart further than just taking off the rail and the valve. I have a bunch of the hard seals that came in a tool box from Gramps and Grizzly when they were Mac Dev Distributors. The Regs that came with the E Type might have the same seal in it as well.
I almost snagged the one you got Rules, but decided against it. Very cool piece of history that, prior to these landing on eBay, had been mentioned ONCE ever on the entirety of the internet - on this podcast: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=No_h_4CGkBY&t=1502s
I talk to Bourke on a frequent basis and he said they no longer have any of the original drawings and such, so that's a bummer. Nice breakdown, thanks for doing that.
