Starting to dabble in First Strikes

So, I picked me up a first strike scout, supremacy scope, riser, rifled lapco barrel, etc. Not really dabbling but It's generally how I jump in with both feet.

Now that I have the above stuff and I obviously need other accessories like mag pouches, any advice both strategy or gear for a new first strike shooter..

Caveat being standard pump will probably still be the go to, but I like bolt actions too much.

It is kind of boring advice... But you should go shoot a lot of first strikes at different ranges and see how it feels. Shoot from positions you will have to shoot from in games.

In game, be aware of tunnel vision, which is easy to get into if you are using a scope.

Practice changing mags without looking at them.

COB and I went to our first magfed only game last weekend. I was just shooting single shot first strikes but it was a different type of game play. I'll let you know when we go to one again and you can see for yourself. Everyone there loves talking about their gear so you can find some good advice. Also supergame is always a fun first strike game.

I wanted this setup for supergame so I am really looking forward to it. Guess I have alot of first strikes to fire before then.

I don't know how well they'll fit t15 mags, but I use a 100rd horizontal pod pack to hold DAM mags. Your next cheapest option is probably a Chinese AK chest rig.

I will definitely try this, I have lots of horizontal packs laying around. I really hate the idea of looking like a new school milsim guy. The more old school and ghetto my setup looks, the better.

How does the scout shoot? Ill ever get around to buying one but they look sweet.
