Paintball websites that time forgot...

I sometimes go down rabbit holes in my Google image searches for old gear and markers I like, just to see what turns up. That's when I find these forgotten nuggets of paintball internet lore. It's amazing to me that there's still paintball websites from the pre-Y2K era. They're like ghost of a bygone age of paintball on the internet. I remember back when, aside from Warpig, alot of my info came from player made websites like these. Here's just a few I found if you want to tour them for fun:

I actually contacted him about a RT trigger mod for my old ProCarbine five ore so years ago and he was still up for it. Couldn’t hurt to try.

Someone suggested that PCOG site to me a while back for Pro Carb mods. Haven’t gotten around to doing them yet, but it’s still bookmarked for when I do.

I just assumed it was defunct since they still had warp feeds and stuff listed as out of stock when as I understand it they were discontinued years ago. You would think they would have removed it by now. I think it could be cool to buy some Armson barrels in that case even if I am just having them milled for freak inserts, I always liked the look.

I JUST bought a couple of parts from em, forrest is still keeping the roof held down. Hes a great dude to work with. I ended up trying to buy an ICD threaded ssr barrel for my puma, he couldnt find it, but kept a great communication line going. Eventually I wanted to buy another intruder grip, and him recalling the barrel deal, gave it to me.

Yeah, that page is still alive, it just doesn't look like it based on the ossified design. I emailed them some months ago just to verify they were still in business because I was looking for some nylon hopper elbows.

I had a bunch of sites in the 90s that lingered for a bit into the 00's. Originally all made with NOTEPAD, manually entering all the html script.
In the 90s, they just were hosted at my school. But by the 00s, I had proper hosting and domains, etc. then forgot about them.

I’ve gone through the photo archives there a few times. It’s a fun way to see what tourney teams were really using and shooting back in the day. I even found a member of my local paintball group in one of the pics from back when he was on a team in the late 90’s. Not bad considering he was wearing a mask!

Otter's page was awesome. I followed his guides like they were religious scripture, back in the day. Every Spyder I had growing up was eventually Otterized.

IIRC, he's still alive and kicking. Runs a kennel in PA or something. Doesn't have much to do with paintball anymore, unfortunately.
