Chris Dilts, the photographer from P8nt, and his story is one of the craziest things I've ever heard. Did P8nt magazine, which has bar-none the best photography in paintball, left to do porn, and from there became an OFFICIAL PHOTOGRAPHER FOR THE WHITE HOUSE. Like. How does that happen?!? I don't read biographies, but I would read the hell out of his.

Yup. Basically, the former P8NT magazine staff wanted to get in on the paintball nostalgia movement, and they put together this beauty. It took FOREVER, and had all kinds of problems. Everybody started wondering if we had all been duped. But lo and behold, it has arrived, and it is a thing of beauty.

This thing has some serious weight. It's probably 5lbs. It feels like a textbook.

They had some serious delays, based on the updates they were giving. Expecting mine some time next week.

I got in on the project since it was only $40 up front. Definitely started to have doubts with all the "covid delays" but it should be here on Monday. Can't wait to get mine!

So I finally had the chance to tear into the thing. Turns out it's two separate books. One, I'm assuming is the original advertised on Kickstarter. The second I'm assuming is the 300+ bonus pages of "lost" material. Very, very cool.

This thing is beautiful. A gorgeous homage to paintball in it's prime. It's really well done. It's like a love letter to 1998-2005 paintball.
