Crosman 12ies

Anyone notice the strange pricing recently with Crosman 12 grams? I pretty much only buy them locally, because I'm not a hardcore stock player, and have only a few markers that use them, so I'm not too picky about what I buy.

But near me, Crosman is always available. Lately, pricing has been so strange. Like right now, they have 25 packs for $15.99, but 40 packs of the exact same label are $16.99. Any idea why? I'm not complaining. In fact, I've been stocking up.

Is it just me, or have any of you noticed similar pricing tends? It's not even worth it to buy the small sets anymore.

Yep...Mal-mart and the amazon has had deals like that, in the past, on the 40 pack.

$.42-ish per 12ie shipped is a decent price. And a 400 ct box is a healthy and respectable stash. But, a 1000 ct box, now that's paintball junkie status!....😂

My current count, minus outstanding bounties due to be paid, is probably about 120-130. 😟

You know, you're probably right. Lol. But with that difference in the number of units, I should still end up with more shots per 40pk vs 25pk. Lol

Lol... I have gotten some dud-ish crossman's in the past.

My last good score was from redrockminnesota. They used to have 250 count boxes of quality 12ies for $90 shipped! They don't have any 12 grams in-stock currently and the listing for the 250 count is gone. It was replaced with a higher priced, per 12ie, 300 count box. 😕

I have a small crate of Crosman cartidges, probably over a hundred. I only use 'em for testing markers, because every single one is only partially full. I'd guess easily only 2/3rds. A Phantom that'd usually get 30-32, would poop out at 20 on these.

But, I got 'em cheap (a bunch of them free) and they're handy to have to test guns with, or to use in a T8 or PGP for a quick game, assuming you'll only spend one magazine or tube.

Red Rock Food Grade Bulk Order or Bust… Consistent Clean and work in any changer. Those Crossman can be greasy. Fine if you clean your marker regularly but if you play a lot it’s worth the extra cash to find ones without oil in them. If you buy enough of them they are cheaper as well. I pretty much buy a big box every 2-3years. Last box of 400+ I maybe had 1 or 2 dud 12g. So they are super reliable and I get great efficiency numbers.

Our Canadian supplier raised prices on their single box of 50 by 17$each

I am happy to have bought 2 at previous price to get free shipping but new pricing is really high.
