I have to mention these - I don't use them, but if I were in the market I'd go either for these or something very similar. Not necessarily HK, though they're a much more mature (in all ways) company than they were a decade ago and no longer bother me as they once did.
I'm mostly a speedballer, and baseball slides are common since I play back. Baseball slides are also a great way to bust ankles. I needed something that let me run while laning, slide, then dig in the cleat to pop up on the other side of the bunker - preferably with a consistent lazarbeam the whole time from breakout to primary. Also preferably with an intact ankle.
