Recycling old marker names is killing me smalls

Does it drive anyone else crazy that you can't search for a nice brass KP3 anymore without finding some Azodin crap? Or even searching for a piranha these days only yields results for the piranha remake and not the old brass version, not to mention the Empire Trracer remake which is a whole other story.

I know there is alot of love for some of the newer renamed versions, but I want the originals and this is really cramping my treasure hunting and companies need to use original names.

I dunno, I really do enjoy one part of it. When I go out and play with my KP. I love when a random young player asks what kind of marker I have in staging. I get to tell them its a KP, and not one of those spyder clone ripoff pos Kps either!

The vast majority of players aren't actively looking for Sheridan KP3s and the like. You guys are very much in the minority in the grand scheme of things. It shouldn't be surprising or unexpected.

The only time I really see this is when I'm on eBay looking for BE Raptors and I see a bunch of the newer plastic Raptor pump guns or the JT Raptor goggles.

To be fair. Azodin’s KP series stands for Kaos Pump. I doubt they were aiming to name them after a 1980s Sheridan that the majority of players in their market know NOTHING about.

Additionally the Kaos pump is not a spyder clone as far as I aware kingman never released a Sheridan style closed bolt pump. Kingmans pumps were Nelson based.

so ironically the Azodin KP series shares more in common operationally with a Sheridan KP than it does with any spyder

Fun facts! I honestly havent looked into them at all. I never found them to feel right in my hands, so Ive never given em a chance. I assumed they were a closed bolt stbb with the blow back disabled. Like a spump.
