Underrated idk, cool AF yes . Most people don't really like short barrels. Check it dragon series 8in 2 piece bore is .686 I believe (really need to find out).
stainless steel back and aluminum tip front. They had longer tips and came in other colors (which i think correlated too different bore id's).

Short barrel + FSR = Unstoppable. Looks tactical, performs at distance spectacularly.

Short barrel + RB = Great for CQ field OR if you just always find yourself in close quarter situations. If I'm shooting you within 10-20 feet anyway, its pretty moot ya know.

Short barrel + Pump = Generally a bad idea imo

Sexy! Love the tank cover. As for barrels I've always been a J&J fan. But they're definitely not underrated. I can think of a few overrated ones however, Apex (cough cough), and my stock CCI barrel. That had groupings like buckshot before I got a Phreak version.

I think another key thing we should really take into consideration is bore sizes available. Modern paint is pure kryptonite to a lot of oldschool goodness.

I guess if you're shooting a cocker or pump you a smaller bore, but other than that I think they shoot just as straight with a loose fit, if not straighter.

Even then, get a way to prevent roll outs. I still overbore with my sniper because it shoots better that way. Glad I have freedummy widgits!

I would hardly call them underrated considering how expensive kits are these days. Underrated would imply its not known about or undervalued based on its performance. I think most are well aware of the quality of those barrels.

I'd definitely say redz pepperstix and Evil barrels in general are underrated. Super cheap and do a great job.

I know Lapco doesn't really count as over rated, but I don't see enough love for their breech sizers. I have a 12" .684 lapco microshot (I guess they call 'em all bigshots nowadays and just note the bore size) and two breech sizers in .680 and .676. Its all Ive ever needed, and my sniper is as accurate as its ever going to get.

Also, tippy stock barrels are fantastic if you polish the bore. Change my mind Or come play against my prolite and I'll change yours

I think Chappy has the best answer. Polished stock tippmann barrel has to be just about the most underrated barrel. I remember trying to polish my stock 98 barrel 😃

I have a tippmann 98 barrel that is anodized on the inside. I bet its for snipes.
