Tear-down Threads - Want more or see they pointless?

Just curious if people like tear down threads where someone takes a deep dive on a particular marker and shows you what’s under the hood. I’ve done a few with interesting markers like a Tippmann C3 and happy to do more (have a Spyder Hammer 7) if people are interested. Just want to make sure it’s worth the effort.

Honestly, I don't read through them until I need it. However when I need it they are incredibly helpful. I have a non functioning c3 and I plan on reading through your post multiple times to help get my c3 fixed. If you are up for the work I know I appriciate it!

I like going through the guns, so I don’t mind. I need to be smarter abs stop trying to do the posts from my phone though. Way easier to use a computer. Hope my C3 tear down helps!

A Thumper tear down would be nice but it might never work again after...
An Epic would be nice too

I wouldn't be opposed to loaning out one of my Epics for a sweet teardown. Maybe someone else can figure out where to get this damned seal.

Be brave and do your own tear down! Easy to do, go step-by-step and take lots of photos, then ignore half the photos when you make a thread!

I've had them torn down plenty of times, it's the whole documenting and explaining thing i don't like doing nor do i really have the time to do so.

          Yep - this.
I rarely read them purely for fun, but whenever I need one, they for sure are invaluable.

And here I though a mod was just drunk at the controls when my Hammer 7 threat got stickied. Either that or they were a huge MC Hammer fan.

Stranger things have happened. And MC Hamer was the 2nd cassette tape I ever owned..
Seriously though. It's a ton of effort and I appreciate it.

No worries. People here have helped me out a lot so happy to pay it forward. I’ve actually done a few before as well. Although I don’t remember what I’ve done previously.

Well if it helps I can do a teardown for an original Hammer, an Ion, and now a Shocker CVO. If enough of us participate we can have a library.

If we get a bunch of these to avoid a wall of stickies maybe a single thread with all of them linked in the OP stickied in the Ask the Experts Or one sticky with the linkes to each teardown thread in that section?
Cdn_Cuda, Don't want to steal any of your thunder here, what do you think?

I agree with a technical section. Even though it will end up being a low traffic section, it might make sense once these start popping up in every thread.

Master list with links would be the cleanest. People could look at list for what marker they wanted and get linked to thread. Be great to make a technical archive basically.
