    Armagillo head bands?

Just came across this today. Pretty neat looking product, though a little pricey.

Anybody use these or something similar?

(its the headband / dreds looking part in the pic)

I use the dread wrap minus the dreads. Not that I don’t care for the dreads per se, but I run hot so additional layers are a no go. Does a decent job wicking sweat but mainly use it to keep paint out of my hair. Maintenance wise don’t wash the wrap with any hook Velcro or it will grab and pull the stitching along the edges.

I have one I picked up from a member here, but haven’t tried it yet. I have an EvilGerbal head wrap I really like that keeps me cool in the warmer months so why fix it, right?

I think the Armagillo will be christened this weekend though..gonna be on the cooler side (and I don’t like running a hat/hood. I’ll let you know how it goes.

I can't comment on the product other than the fact that it makes you look like the predator. I know a couple guys that use these from time to time and they always look like the predator on the field.

That was actually one reason I like it. Looks Predator-ish and has kinda a mean look.

Haven’t used one. Seen them on the field tho, They look cool I bet it provides good protection but at the same time a big Big target may not matter if they bounce a lot I guess. Not sure how well they breath with all that material.

I personally prefer a good quality traditional head wrap or an old school bounce cap. These look to bulky for me. But I get why people purchase these it’s probably great protection,

My buddy had to wear one while on blood thinners to reduce the chances of bruises. The layers trap heat. He had to remove it between games to cool down. But he never did get a bruise on his head. He did look awesome though.

They should sponsor the resurgent Predator team out of the UK
