    Anyone used Virtue Ace paint?

Great deals on premium quality paintball gear designed and used by the best professional players in the sport. The best paintball goggles, masks, loaders, hoppers, harnesses, packs and more in the sport of paintball.

It’s on sale for $75 for 4000 rounds. Would this work for woodsball, or is it too brittle for blowbacks?

I didn't know they actually made paint. But from what I've been told, it's made by APX.

You might be thinking of Valken, which acquired APX a few years ago. Or is APX/Valken making paint and white-labeling it to Virtue?

So I am really not a fan of virtue, that dates back a while and not worth getting into.

However, it's really difficult to get paint in my area. On black Friday I ordered 4 cases for something like $30 a piece. 2 cases had broken paint in it. I toweled them off and put them in ziplock bags with desiccate packs. I recently bought a longbow tac one and when I got it it had a straight rifled barrel on it. Without thinking I grabbed a handful of virtue paint and loaded it up.

It was shooting perfectly straight as far as it would fly. I was blown away. I thought "oh my God, I'm only shooting straight rifle barrels ever again!" Well he took a while until I started using that paint and other guns to realize it was the paint.

I'm not an expert, but it's the best pain I have personally shot in a long time. A friend of mine also bought four cases, and he just text me about this new sale and he said he can't believe that the pain he bought in November is still shooting ball on ball and he said it's some of the best paint he shot.

Honestly I haven't even looked at the paint closely or anything I just grab a handfuls out of the Ziploc bag whenever I'm testing a gun, and I'm pretty impressed by how straight it shoots. I assume it's brittle enough, but I've only shot trees and snowbanks at this point. I know it breaks my dropping on the floor.

TLDR: I bought some on black Friday and it was fantastic. Virtue sucks. Will buy again for sure.

Agree with your TLDR. I really like Virtue products, but the company practices are shitty.

I should also add to answer the original question, I've used it in '98, and a5s and I haven't had a barrel break yet.

Beautiful, thanks. I’ll think I’ll order me some 🥸

It is GI Sportz paint. Equivalent to 3 star, in my opinion. Shell is brittle enough but unfortunately the fill is only available in orange.

I ordered two boxes and half the bags had a break. The paint also had some issues flying straight, possibly due to sitting on the shelf in the warehouse and settling.

Looks like Amazon has the same deal. If there are a bunch of watermelons and raisins or flat spots then it can be returned. I still think I’ll pull the trigger on the two cases.

Lol, but it’s true! The watermelon-shaped paint is fairly common, but the raisins are special. Thankfully the store I bought them from took the case back. Those shriveled things were just sad. I wish I had a picture to show everyone…
