My most awesomest Raptor, so far.

Most people don’t care about an old Brass Eagle Raptor, but if you can’t share it here, then you can’t share it anywhere. I finally got most of the pieces in place to put this together. Always had a fondness for Raptors since my first paintball gun was a green Raptor way back when. This is what happens when you have a sentimental attachment to a gun, and nearly every part attached to it cost more than the gun itself.

I’ve never seen those grips either. Very cool. I’ve got a stock Silver Eagle. Seeing this makes me want to do something with it. I had a Silver Eagle back when they were new. I always wanted to deck it out entirely with polished/silver/chrome parts. I figured if i was having a rough day & it was sunny that i could resort to blinding the opposing team to give me an advantage. Good times.

That thing is boss! Loved the Raptors back in the day. Had a Silver Eagle that I ran in a "pistol" form. Cut-down stock barrel, pocket hopper, 12g quick changer right off the VASA.

Where did you get those grips and hopper cover? Those grips look brand new & like the others I've never seen those before.

Hopper cover came from a website called Ginger Dynamics. They make hopper, tank and cocker pneumatic covers. https://www.gingerdynamics.com
Dan Bacci hooked me up with that Revy which looks practically brand new.

The grips are from Alumagrips. I just provided the image and they were able to laser etch it into the grips for me.

The chamber was an F4 chamber that I sent to BMC Fab and Brandon was able to rethread it for me.

That's an awesome Raptor! I have several guns that are worth much less than the sum of the parts/work put into them.

I just noticed the powerfeed plug. Nice. I do hate how the VAs get discolored like that. Mine’s the same. I wonder if polishing them would work.

You might be able to try some Brownells Oxpho Blue to darken it up. I was able to darken up an old spyder VA with it.

Yeah, that powerfeed plug was a totally random find, but I really like the look of it. I do have an aluminum VA I might put on just because it is a nice black anodized color. Plus any Raptor can use some help where it can get it in the weight category, especially when you go adding stainless steel barrels!
