What happened was I missed the screw in the side because it's small and basically everything else about the marker is a stacked tube blowback

Then I convinced myself that an o ring was basically melted and was causing the valve to stick

Out came the dumb idea

She accepted this reality when we decided to have a child.

And yes, I have plans for her first marker. Assuming 50 cal is still a thing in 7 or so years
