How many paintball outfits do you have?

It occurs to me that I actually put more effort into paintball fashion than I had realized after this was pointed out at the field.

So I have 5 outfits dedicated to paintball, which when talking to a few people seems high but, my sample size was small so how many do you have?

so my 5 have some logic behind them so it doesn’t seem excessive to me, what do you think?

    1. The Yellow outfit, so I can match my Yellow Shocker
    Rothco yellow “Stinger” camo pants
Troy Lee Designs yellow MX jersey
Some no name yellow MX gloves
    Bunker Kings yellow beanie

    2. My Old School outfit, so I can show offf my patches
Taylor Stitch strichtarn BDU with all patches sewn on
    Rothco olive drab pants
    Mechanix gloves
    Smart Parts beanie

    3. my less old school for warmer weather:
Evil Gerbil Teal Renegade fabric jersey
    Rothco Black pants
Renegade head wrap in the same teal fabric
    Valken figerless armored gloves

    4. My blue look to match my blue Angel
    Dye C14 blue/purple jersey
still looking for the best blue pants for it
    blue armored Motocross gloves
    blue bunker kings beanie

    5. My renter look
Rothco pink camo long sleeve shirt
    Carhartt hoodie if cold
    Carhartt beanie
    Rothco pink camo pants
    Mechanix gloves

I have a pair of black bdus I've been wearing since 2003, and I switch off between 3 jerseys weather dependant (2 up until a month ago). Wide array of bandanas of various prints and colors to keep sweat out of my face and paint out of my hair.

I’ve played in the same basic gear for years. Grey empire pants, grey empire jersey, sometimes a dicky’s jacket and a Blizzard vest.

Recently been upgraded basically everything though and have camo BT pant I’m only slightly too fat for (came with a big gear package), MCB Camo jersey, a second jersey of a local paintball group I used to play with a long time ago (and has a German Shepherd on it). So I guess I still only have one set of gear.

I have also bought a head wrap for the first time. Had my daughter pick it out for me.

Might pick up some sort of ridiculous jersey for fun play. I enjoy the JT cow jersey and definitely need pants that fit better. Paintball is not fun when your pants fall off.

About 60 jerseys and 30 pairs of playing pants... so there's many options.

I know you have one of those Brass Eagle jerseys which is what I started playing in when my team wanted to get "serious" lol at Sports Authority they only had Brass Eagle and JT and the Brass Eagle ones were way cheaper

Lots of classic style Jerseys Evil Gerbil Camos OG Woods ball flavor. Lots of old team Jerseys from back in the day when I played competitively. Most of the time I grab some kind of camo flavor that matches the woods I’m playing in. My favorite is my old Tiger Stripe Renagade we been threw some stuff. It’s starting to fray at the bottom from being washed a million times and it’s a bit faded but it works and it fits me perfectly. I had Eric at EG make me a bunch of jerseys to match the fit of this jersey. If it’s not my Tiger stripe Im in my Ragnastock jersey Slim designed. Cuz I got to represent the Brother Hood and keep it Stock Classy.

I do have some new old stock snow camo Jt stuff I purchased and a LE JT mask to match my custom Ano KCPS Scout I built but I have never worn it because it’s white and stains easy. Maybe I will. I have sold a lot of my collection but still have a large selection of JT masks. But lately been grabbing my BK / Virtue mask because they never fog and have HD lenses like my I5 but is not built like an expensive hard hat. I hate that stupid ratchet strap Dye puts on there mask. I5 is a Great mask stupid design.

Pants I run a good pair of black 511 or my new current favorite are a pair of smokin Paintball pants. They are hemp and super durable but light and don’t have thoes hipster skinny jeans look to them like everything today. I like to be comfortable and need cargo pockets cuz I play a lot of Stock Class in the summer months I need a place to put tubes /12g. Wish I could find a pair in my size in black. I have a WTB up for a set.

I can’t do gloves I might put on a pair of Mechanics Gloves in the winter if there’s a lot of snow on the ground. But after I get playing and the blood pumping I take them off. Unless the hands are completely num I can’t use gloves.

Footware I use to run a pair of Adidas Turf Hogs best dam cleats you could use for paintball they gripped on everything from greasy turf on an Xball field that hasn’t been cleaned in years to a slimy mossy covered log or rock in the woods. They got discontinued so now I’m using a Under armor variant that seems to be twice the price but proving to be very durable and work well. If you have tried a pair of Good quality Rubber spiked Turf cleats you should they rock! I ran a few different trail runners but I like my Turf cleats there more supportive and grip better then any trail running shoe I have found. Trail runners are expensive and designed to be lightweight but don’t hold up to the abuse of paint and are not supportive at all even the high end ones. Turf cleats are my jam.

I have a pretty big selection of soft goods but mainly end up using the same stuff.

I love the Evil Gerbil stuff, so good. At first I thought it was too expensive then I seen what used prices on Renegade stuff was like lol. I might have to try some of those shoes out, right now I wear an old pair of Dr. Martens and while they are very comfortable they aren't exactly the best grip in the worldm I have a pair of New Balance softball cleats but, they really weren't doing it for me since sometimes I have to walk on wooden bridges at the field and it is like walking on ice with those

You will like that rubber turf cleats. New balance makes some fancy ones I haven’t tried. But I really like the Under Armor ones. They are flexible enough so they still grip on hard surfaces. Eric at EG makes that old school quality with his own twist he searches for that thick denim material in awesome new patterns. He makes better quality headgear then sandana and better jerseys then Renagade. They are hand made in the US to. He’s a really nice guy to so it makes it easy supporting him.

I have 3 pairs of pants. Two of which I wear the third is a spare. I've got several jerseys. Two of which I wear. Nothing is a matching set.

More often lately I find myself just wearing a tshirt insyead of a jersey if it's nice out.

As far as footwear I use a old pair of workboots. Which reminds me i gotta glue the soul back onto one. Really should just replace them.

I typically just wear Carhartt pants and my MCB t-shirt, but that's changing this year. I'll have team colors to wear. Also I'll be making some new outfits for some themed games this year. I typically don't "dress up," but for paintball, I would like to stand out for pictures

I have old woodland camo BDUs and if it’s warm I take off the jacket and just sport my Sandana sidewinder T-shirt. Been my paintball clothes setup for years now.

My set of German BDUs have turned to velvet and sprouted holes, so I just ordered a new set.
Now I have to make a stencil, and sew on some patches.
Never tried the pants and jerseys when surplus was so cheap and good.
I had some South African chuck taylors with Vietnam style treads, don't think I can find them anymore

Yeah I have several jerseys and a few sets of pants. I wear my gray set which consists of my platinum (gray and red) CK pants and a gray and red Jerseys clinic ultra light jersey for summer or a Fett 2.0 CK jersey if it's colder. I also have a pair of Remus 2.0 (black and red) CK pants and ultra pro and ultra light black, red and white Jersey Clinic jersey that I can use in either summer or winter. I have a a black and red matching mask (currently have both a Push Blood trooper and a CRBN Crimson). I had a matching gray VPR mask but sold it. I'm going back to more of a black and red from the gray I had kind of drifted to.

I have an assortment of Evil jerseys in red and black, a heavy Sly black and white jersey and a few other odds and ends. I have a pair of CK joggers that are black and red but I don't find them to be much cooler than my regular padded CK pants. I have a few pairs of Evil pants in black and red too.

Probably my favorite piece of clothing is my Carbon SC shirt. It's compression and really helps in the heat. It has the built in arm pads so I don't have to bring a separate pair. I had my wife use her Cricut machine and put my name and number on it. If it really gets hot I can wear just that and it looks pretty cool. It's gray and black so it matches everything else.

I really do not have "outfits" I have a couple of Duluth Firehose Pants (Sage Green and Tan) that I use for paintball and Various team or Camo Jersey's. I pick that which is clean (usually any of them are clean at any given time) and mix/match depending on the venue. If weekend play pretty much a Camo Jersey but if playing a big/scenario game I will pick a team jersey so those who I am playing with will easier recognize me. Hell I've been known to just play in Jeans and pull over.

I wanted to try those fire hose pants for PB I hear they are super durable. Are they heavy to run around in tho? That was my only concern.

I like them a lot, they are heavy duty without being stiff and they breath surprisingly well. Just keep in mind they are cotton so do absorb moisture, but dry pretty quick due to the loose weave. Plenty of room for movement and my Sage pair I have had since circa 2010 and use them for work in brush and woods as well as paintball and not a tear or worn out part yet. You can get them with pockets for knee pads and in a stretch/wicking blend fabric too. In high summer I use a pair of lighter weight hiking inspired pant just because they wick better and are just overall lighter weight but they do not provide near the protection my Firehose pants do.

I don’t own any outfits (that’s what my wife and her friend call them), I own paintball equipment! Say basketball shorts or golf shirts and nobody bats an eye, but mention paintball and clothing, wives lose their minds. I demand equal rights for all sporting gear! /endrant
