    Removable wedgits

Just wondering if anyone has tried these removable wedgits from Palmer's and what you thought of them.

I've never used those specifically but, freedummy detents have work well for me in the past. πŸ˜‰

I was an early tester for them during PPS's development. They work well. The 3D printed Freedummy style detents work well too.
Easier to keep the PPS ones with the barrel. Easier to swab with the Freedummy style since they return to shape.

I second these. I haven't tried the Palmers ones, but as a concept they work really well.

I swear by Freedummy's detents. They're a must on any closed bolt gun for me.

Freedummy detents are the best paintball product besides protective goggles.

the Palmer ones are great but the free dummy ones are a bit better

a lot of consistency (and therefore accuracy) comes from holding the ball in the same place every time. Freedummy fingers and Palmer wedgits do this better than an insert system.

it took me a long time to realize why my silly heavy Palmer barrels shot so much better than my insert system barrels. Was it the weight? The brass? The elliptical honing?

I believe it is the superior ball retention method provided by wedgits, and these removable weight options. It seems rudimentary but for our purposes it’s superior.

the only way to match it is with a relatively tight underbore situation which is harder on paint and makes for a jacked up pump stroke.
