    By the way, I love you fuckers... started with a conversation about drop forwards, and we came to this! I bought a purple drop. And talking with a dude about his nice ass 68, that he wants to give to me.......

        my father bought the car when i was around 6 yo iirc. there's pictures of me in front of the car and my head doesn't even clear the headlight. He would take us to the lake and then to a drive in theater for a late night movie. (still had the speakers on the pole that would clip onto the door) lol i would often help him work on the car as well.

        he got older and stopped driving the car. Once i got older, i put Hagerty insurance on it and started driving it. had to do some mechanical work to it but all in all it was running a driving.

        it was a great classic date car. dinner and drive in movie with the lady. lay on the hood with our backs on the windshield. the 350 SBC kept our butts warm...

        now i have kids of my own and i have pictures of them standing in front of the car, and wouldnt ya' know it, their heads dont even clear the headlight...

          Ahh yes, this is why we have cars. Can't do this in a Tesla... I mean you can but it's just not the same.
