What is it and what's it worth (air America Armageddon)

    Ok, obviously air America Armageddon

But I've never really understood these things. Tanks don't thread into them and they don't have a neck to thread into a tank either. How are you supposed to use them?

Are they worth anything on the market today?

This one is in great shape externally. I'm not going to take it apart as I have no use for it. I've heard a few mentions of them around in passing but that's about all I know about them

They had specially matched tank thread that would output at raw 3k. Neat stuff, but highly proprietary.

So without that tank thread it's pretty useless?

I bet you could get Doc or someone to make an ASA adapter for it.

Why though? I don't get where the advantage in running this thing is. It's bulky and heavy and doesn't do anything an ASA or regulator already doesn't do

Do people like these for something I'm missing or are they just old relics?

They're well made and externally adjustable, which is ideal for tuning RT mags. They also have that old school style.

One does not simply state facts about the logical function of paintball relics trbo323

              You aren’t missing anything though.

-While probably not impossible, the tank-mounted part of the "valve" was in fact part of the regulator. Either half by itself is more or less useless- you could find a way to mount a standard ASA to the back half of that reg, but it wouldn't actually be a regulator. It'd just be a clunky, oversized bottomline.

There's an old for-sale listing on Bacci's site that shows both components of the system: https://www.baccipaintball.com/air1157.html

Well if nothing else that answers my question on if it's worth anything...

The main trouble is I believe the male tank threads are proprietary and common paintball tanks don’t have em. That other half of the AA is definitely required, though.
