Field recommendations Louisville and Minneapolis

I'm going on a couple work trips in the beginning of 2023 and I'm heading to Minneapolis and Louisville. I'd like to try to make it to a couple of fields, but know nothing about the 2 areas.

• I've seen Splatball, in Minneapolis, and they have indoor. From the looks of their site it feels like it's a tad too stringent. Also not keen on playing indoor at anything less than 280fps.
• Then there is PB Asylum. They don't even look like they are running? Their site looks like a bootstrap HTML5 template.

These seem like the only ones in an acceptable range for me being on a work trip. Anyone have any insight on these 2 locations?

Splat tag and vintage are both about 45 minutes drive from Minneapolis. Splat tag is good for woods ball, vintage is good for more hybrid/speed ball

I think the issue is temperature. Air assault used to be the premier indoor field. Its owned by the same owners as splat ball. But covid killed it. I think splat ball is rentals only. And more accommodated for newer players. Id meet ya there for laughs if you went.

Splat tag may be running games outdoors is its semi warm, in winter they play by ear, and start hard in March.

Splat tag also owns land in baldwin. they primarily run airsoft, but we can ball out there.

I could likely get permission to have us run our own private game at baldwin. But again, weather is a factor.

If you come when its suck ass winter. Maybe go to Tactical Urban Combat. Thats like shooting nerf rivals in a supposedly cool indoor course. I've never been, but Id go for the laughs.

I also hear its always 50 in the caves at jeagers.... its only 6 more hours away...

When you say covid killed Air Assault, do you mean that it isn't busy anymore or that the location is gone? I haven't been up that way in years.

The building is now a gym as far as I understand. The only indoor field I know is splatball now.
