    Yep, I'm officially out

Over the plast few years I have been slowly reducing my gear from litteraly the entire garage to the "essentials" taking up 2 shelves in the garage, a shelf in the closet, and a few dresser drawers.

Now after 20 years of actually playing (unlike many of you old geezers) think its time now to pull the plug and officially move on to the next thing in life.

So yes, Im selling off ALL of my paintball stuff. Expect some gear popping up from me in the next few weeks. I'm not going to deal with lots of small stuff like I use to, gonna be package sales on some stuff.

This community has been good to me and my family so y'all will be getting first dibs.

This isnt a firesale, its just a reduction of stuff I have collected and used so I can simplify my life a bit more.

I cant remember who had dibs on the prototype side saddle phantom with dualpheed I have, but Im sure you will remind me. It comes with extra parts too.

BTW, The quadpheed is long gone so dont get your hopes up on that one.

Some of you know what I have, but I ask that you call dibs below in this thread vs PMing me. I will be giving priority to people replying below vs sorting you out in my messages. Help me help you please!

Slowly it becomes an occasional thing...and in the season more frequent. You will see the field again.

      Keep your favorite mask!

I did the same thing. Went from over 20 markers spanning every corner of the paintball world, down to a fully custom automag, and a phantom. GLWS, hopefully your not completely out.

Naw, I think this is it. I've been wanting to simplify my life considerably and am getting tired of hding on to things I dont need or use anymore.

I cant play anymore, sold off my collection. It felt great helping people out but what i sold still stings. I understand not wanting to hang onto materialistic items we don't need, it can clutter a persons life.

I came to the conclusion that i can still enjoy different aspects of paintball. Hunting down old markers and learning about the history of the sport down to specifics has been great. I have dealt with individuals here in a short while that would literally give me the clothes off their back, if all i end up with is a few wall hangers to remind me of those interactions i cant ask for more.

if you have anything really special, don't be quick to let it go. How you feel might change, it did for me.

That time of hunting down old and cool markers has come and gone. While I do have (and had) cool setups I feel bad for just holding on to them and keeping them in storage without use or appreciation. Its time to move them on to get appreciated again

When you are this confident about your choice, I agree it is the best move. Looking forward to seeing what you have for sale.

Not sure if all caught my advice in a comment above, but I will make it a post here......

I think anyone taking a break from the sport\leaving the sport , and considering selling all their stuff, should consider keeping back their favorite mask !

One never knows when a bday, or stag party paintball invite will come up, or even when that itch that needs scratching suddenly appears.

I'd even go so far to keep back a Revvy loader, and a nice Tippmann 98 barrel , and a cocker threaded barrel ( for the most probable rentals guns)

Its a good suggestion and I may consider it

Definitely keep a good mask. I would honestly keep one good setup JIC. Something simple that’s always going to work forever like a Phantom or something. Regardless what you do your going to want to play again at some point. After playing that long you gunna get the itch again. I recommend not selling it all.

I'll keep the mask in mind, but dont mind a hard reset on the rest of the gear if the time comes

Paintzapper The couple times I've dealt with you were awesome & your videos were great. Thank you for what you've done for all of us & good luck with your next venture(s).

But seriously- as others have said, keep one setup & your favorite mask, or at least just the mask. Just in case. I'd suggest a HPA bottle that's exempt from hydrotesting.

Im considering the mask, and only the mask. But am ready to move on here. I have no deep connections to my gear and will happily pick up something in the future if I get the itch

If you have any good but reliable old beater guns and/or gear let me know! Don't have the biggest budget but I'll keep a look out in the BST. I am getting back into it after a long hiatus but really only used old mechanical guns, consider me a noob. Good luck with your next hobby, I'd suggest golf but that's just my main hobby.

The beaters are long gone, but I have some soft goods laying around. Keep an eye on the bst

I get it! I totally get it, but it always bums me out when a long-timer leaves the sport, especially one that made limited paint videos. Best of luck in your endeavors, you know where we will be if you ever decide to come back into the fold.

I've quit and come back a few times, but I also accept there will be a final time, probably no more than 10 years from now for me.

Appreciate everything you've contributed over the years. Enjoy your next hobby. I'm sure you'll be just as dedicated.

I sold most everything probably 5 years ago, after 29 years of playing, I still had 3 totes and gave that all away once we down sized houses a couple years ago.
I do miss playing, but realize I physically can’t do it, and nothing really local any more anyway. I wouldn’t mind a wall hanger of some sort but I can’t justify 300 bucks any longer especially since I medically retired last year at 58

Played last weekend, turn 64 next month. Still getting out there, just pay more for it the next day.
      First played in 1988 when I was 29, so...34 years now. In my 20's, 30's, 40's, 50's, and 60's.
I cringe over the day I'll have to start putting price tags on everything, there's over 100 markers in there spanning 3+ decades and over 20 years of magazines (over 600 lbs. of the things).
Amazing what you can collect and what it adds up to, but how to deal with it when you're done and gone?

My parents litteraly just got done selling everything so they can up and move out of the country for a few years and they have and were surprised over just the sheer volume of "stuff" they had.

They were glad to get it done as we have had to clear out several families houses after they passed away and didn't want to put a similar burden on me.
