Should We Do Forum T-Shirt?

For a real MCB joke, we'd have the back of the shirt be the view from behind... and the expert would be sitting on a pile of brass and Micromags.
The JonM version sounds perfect though.Feedback

The version I created is based on the cleaned up one Doc made (as noted in the credit below).

Say on black it probably would not be as vibrant. I have found from having had numerous shirts (about 80+ now) printed over the years that color perception changes alot depending on what it is next to or on. One way around it would be to keep all the inside area white and even put a matching white border around the existing black border. That way any color of shirt it will pop and not loose the look/feel of the subject matter.
Love this rendition though nice work.

I like using the combat manual cartoon on a shirt.
But if we really want to show the real MCB what about this

If somebody wants this to happen they just need to do it. Every time this comes up there is lots of discussion but nothing ever goes forward.

MCB has been my saving grace since lockdown. Ive been dabbling with designs in my head and here are two designs I made for no real particular reason other than just needing to get my creative juices flowing... I have other designs in my head for the "whisperers/whispered" , "collectors", and "Tinkerer" with D&D type creatures as their mascots. But yeah.. I'd be down to help with designs and what not.

Heck, I'd be willing to set it up myself. It doesn't seem that hard or time consuming. But I would need a high-def version of the image we want to use. And all the white bits needs to be transparent so it can be printed on non-white shirts.
I'd personally be down for a Combat Manual shirt or a shirt with that Splatmaster design that Elliot did. I'm only sad that Elliot wouldn't get any proceeds from the sale. Artists should be paid for their work.

Elliot,
It looks to me like if YOU set up the T-shirt on Printful with your Splatmaster design, you can actually sell the T-shirt for more than the cost of production. So if the shirt costs $12 to produce, but you set the price at $17, then they send you $5 for each shirt that we buy from the site.
It does seem, however, that you might need an online store first to link to the shirt design. There's probably a way around that, but you'll have to call or email with them.
Hmm......Maybe MCB can build a store on this site somewhere?

Hey rawbutter,
I was looking into this same thing. Big Cartel seems to be a very plausible solution as an e-commerce site, as it is very compatible with Printful. I'm delving deeper into it all, and trying to find out how the shipping fees are managed.

Looks like Squareup (Square) has a good integration with Printful. Easy setup to have a link represented on here somewhere. I'm also reading that it has direct PayPal integrations so since MCB already takes membership dues via PP, why not add that into the mix?

Ok, I've located what I think is the original "Combat Manual" cartoon, scaled it up and tweaked it for white on black printing.
It would be simple to export a hi res file with transparency for printing.
What do you think?

Sorry Rawbutter didn’t see your reply, probably downside to the comments or maybe I missed setting up notifications on my side. Anyhow yeah Teespring you wouldn’t need an outside “store front” and you can offer a bunch of different print options as far as color and product. Super simple to set up. Printful on the other hand you need a host sight like Etsy etc to serve as your “store front”. Also you are correct, it would be on demand so it’s all on your time as far as when you want to purchase something etc. I am willing to help out wherever I can. Let me know and ElliotB that is some sick work yo. I would love to purchase something with that splat master design.
