i give up at various stages, though ive never done anything truly custom to get me in deep.

i've gathered all the parts and decided the project would suit someone else. or it is close to working and i just don't feel up to getting it to work. sometimes i complete the project successfully, and i realize my super specific idea for the marker is a little too narrow in scope.

I rarely give up on a project. I've had to often-involuntarily abandon projects, when I discovered that parts aren't available, or that the mod would require some small violation of space/time causality to complete, or that I realized the idea was stupid in the first place and should never have been started.

I might not be in a rush to finish a particular project, but it will damn well get finished in mid-term future.
